Today marks the 11th day, from that previous 7th day, of me not making any major mistakes for wife to get upset! Halleluja!!! ;) 7 + 11 is a grand total of 18 days. Wife also celebrated her good mood last Friday... well, technically she was in a good mood because of other reasons, but anyway, good mood is good mood, who cares about reasons? So the next prime number after 11 would be 13. Let's see if we can go on like this for 13 more days! :)
This weekend we also saw a bunch of houses/condos. If God willing, we should have a place soon enough..., if not, oh well, that's okay, we'll just wait. Why get it now if God is preparing something better for us later? Of course, if God has already prepared for us a good home now, why wait til later, right? So hopefully we stay close with God's will... ;) The market is just too weird lately. Given my indecisive nature, I just might be paralyzed by over analysis... so I hope God will push us if we're acting too reluctantly... and stop us if we're acting too impulsively... in God we trust!
Pastor Jim talked about faith, hope and love this weekend. He also talked about how God can use the lame, the weak, even the totally failed, screwed up kind of folks. However, as Almighty as God is, He cannot use a quiter. Whenever we lose faith, lose hope or lose love, inevitably, we'd want to quit... and it'll be game over for sure. Pastor Jim even went on to speculate that if Judas didn't commit suicide and repented, for sure even he can become an apostle of Jesus later! So, yeah, may we all persevere on and never quit for the love of God!
Today's scripture reading was kinda interesting..., it talked about how women's vows can be nullified by their fathers or their husbands. So basically women can only vow if they have permission from their father... or if married, from their husbands! And if the husbands were to nullify her vows sometimes after he heard it, the husband will then be guilty for her!!!
So in case of divorce, wife violating her wedding vow, husbands will automatically be guilty!!! Oh well, better make sure I don't nullify wife's wedding vow then. ;)
