Weekend was HOT HOT HOT! A/C vent of the Master bedroom in our apartment seemed kinda clogged or something... flow is real low... so it can get hot even in the evenings! So we decided to move to the other cooler bedroom. Plus, we're hoping to train our kitty cat to NOT disturb us while we're sleeping... wife is constantly losing sleep because of the cat acting up! If he acts up again, our plan was to simply to kick him back to the master bedroom alone all by himself! Of course, we don't mean to abuse our animal by locking him up in the hottest room in our apartment, it's just that his drinking fountain... along with his 'bathroom' is located in that room... we want him to be able to drink and relief himself while doing 'time outs' in the room that's all... it's NOT animal abuse! ;)
Anyway, thank God that our cat seemed to be feeling better now. Finally begin to "purrrr" once again. Not sure what happened. Our initial move from one bedroom to another seemed to kinda disturbed him... not sure what's going on... he wasn't sure where was he suppose to sleep! ;) However, I guess he adjusted rather quickly! Praying for kittycat works too! So far, we haven't had to lock up our cat just yet... hopefully his mood can continue to improve...
We also had a big brunch at parent's house on Saturday. Wife and I cooked them american style breakfast. It's kinda hard cooking for so many people... I'm not used to that! Luckily those aunts couldn't eat a whole lot... so it was easy to stuff them up... it just took me way longer than I thought... I have a lot more respect for professinal chefs now! ;) Anyway, at least we all had a pretty good time overall...
We also did some house hunting over the weekend, but still can't find anything we really like at the price where we can afford. Just gotta be more patient I suppose. Surely we will find something sooner or later. Surely God is preparing for us something way better than anything we could possibly imagined! Praise the LORD!!!
Yeah, Pastor Jim told us that praise is the only way for us to pursue the presence of God! So halleluja!!! ;) One thing we ask and one thing we seek is to live in the house of the LORD all the days of our lives!!! Today's reading was about Joshua and Caleb..., may we be like them, may we have the spirit of Joshua and Caleb... that even on super HOT days... even when things appear to be against us, we won't be afraid because we know that God is with us!
