LA has been very hot recently... and a brush fire erupted last nite at Griffith Park... fire burned dangerously close to the observatory too! It was recently renovated too..., hopefully it's still safe... this is the place where I took the bus for the very first time with the love of my life... looks like it's still standing! I wonder if the famous Hollywood sign is still left standing..., we'll see.Last nite, we also saw a movie on DVD, 'Painted Veil'. It was a good film, I just don't understand what the title has to do with anything... it's about some spoiled english girl and a nerdy bacteria scientist... they both don't know what true love really is until the very end. It's interesting because people almost always don't know how to cherish what they have until it's gone. Although in the end, the two didn't live happily ever after because one died, but at least both finally learned to really love. Will we learn to cherish the things and people we have now? Hmm..., we'll see. ;)

Funny we kinda wrote on the same topic of "cherishing" what we have in life even though we used diff. things to come to that conclusion...I think we wrote around the same time too...kinda freaky huh? :p
