Saw Spiderman 3 last night. I think it tried to do way too much in one single movie, so it's probably the worst of all Spiderman movies... Nevertheless, I do appreciate all the positive messages it's trying to send to the audiences. I just think that it's poorly delivered...Still, I have to say that Spiderman is my favorite superhero. Used to be Superman cause I think he's very cool and he can fly!!! But Spiderman is really the most 'down to earth' or 'human' of them all. Not everything was super easy for him..., he actually had to struggle like the rest of us just to make a living. I just think that of all the superheros, he's the most Christ-like! Christ is not only God, but he's also a man too! Spiderman too, he's not only a super hero, but he's also a regular guy just like ourselves... ;)
In the 1st and 2nd movie, he had to learn first hand what does it mean when his uncle taught him that with great powers, comes great responsibilities. A lot of personal sacrifices had to be made when he got his God given superpower abilities... he even sacrificed his true love... because he's afraid that the bad guys might hurt her. But at the end of the 2nd movie, MJ, his true love found out about his identity... so there's no more need for the pretence and secrecy... so by the end of the 2nd movie, it sure look like Spiderman and the girl are about to live happily ever after...
Then we find out that they are just like any other earthly couple. Boys will be boys and girls will be girls... sometimes the two opposite sexes just cannot completely get each other..., bottomline is that there is no happily ever after as long as we're living here on earth! ;) However, regardless of all the troubles we face everyday, there is one thing that never fails..., which is love! It is love that bonds people together. It is love that can help us forgive each other. It is love that can help us overcome whatever inner struggles we're facing.
