Brother GD and sister Prophet shared with us how we should rely on God's Spirit to know the truth, to listen to what God has to say, to be empowered by that never ending stream of living water... to build ourselves up and build each other up on a firm foundation which is Christ himself... and God will prepare for us something that we have not seen, heard or even conceived before... right now... I'm conceiving all of my family members saved, all of Christ's churches built up, and my marriage being filled with love of God... okay, it's now Your turn to make it all come true beyond my wildest dreams O God!!! ;)
Anyway, I'm not certain if I've ever been spirit filled..., but surely Holy Spirit lives in me. Oh Lord, may I get to know you more? And may I be used by You somehow? Change me O God, so that I may be more acceptable in Your sight... or be more useful...

We'll see...
Yes, even after a huge meal last night, I only weighed 183 lbs (And i'm already down to 181 in the morning! ;) However, people attending our wedding is now exceeding 200!!! So I think we can expect about 250 people total..., we'll see.
LA has been very hot recently... and a brush fire erupted last nite at Griffith Park... fire burned dangerously close to the observatory too! It was recently renovated too..., hopefully it's still safe... this is the place where I took the bus for the very first time with the love of my life... looks like it's still standing! I wonder if the famous Hollywood sign is still left standing..., we'll see.
Last nite, we also saw a movie on DVD, 'Painted Veil'. It was a good film, I just don't understand what the title has to do with anything... it's about some spoiled english girl and a nerdy bacteria scientist... they both don't know what true love really is until the very end. It's interesting because people almost always don't know how to cherish what they have until it's gone. Although in the end, the two didn't live happily ever after because one died, but at least both finally learned to really love. Will we learn to cherish the things and people we have now? Hmm..., we'll see. ;)

Busy Weekend... (6 questions!!!)
This past Saturday morning I attended Ting and Pong's wedding rehearsal because I'm playing bass during worship, then it's the actual wedding at noon time... it was probably the last time this many current and ex-LAKKC brothers and sisters gathering together.
The atmosphere was kinda awkward, especially during the photo session... are we 'friends' with the bride or are we from LAKKC? Pong has been with LAKKC for a long time, but will leave after her wedding. Ting used to attend LAKKC too, but felt unwelcomed by the brothers and sisters so he left a while back to attend his current church now. For sure he has spiritually improved at this other church, so it was good that he left LAKKC at the time...
Still, so how did we get from there to here? Was LAKKC really so evil and horrible? If so, how was I able to get to know Christ thru LAKKC? If God was with LAKKC, then what happened? How did it all fall apart? How can we build up His church? Wish I can have Nehemiah's wisdom and resources to rebuild the collapsed walls of God's churches...
Anyway, during that same morning, the love of my life at home was experiencing something rather difficult too, which is the passing of her dear friend. Life is indeed short. Are we really living it to the full as God wanted us to live? I don't really know this 'friend' very well, but it did sound like everyone cared and loved her very much. She also sounded like a very interesting character..., but I suppose I'll have to finally meet her later in that pain-free paradise somewhere...
We ended that Saturday helping out brother Lu at his Full Gospel event..., the turn out was not as good as compared to the past 2 years..., past 2 years was a full house thing, but last sat nite, we still have some empty seats... Anyway, it was a good opportunity for both the love of my life and myself to make sure that the violin and the bass guitar are still in good playing condition! ;)
And on Sunday, mom decided to skip church for the first time..., but it's okay, last sunday's message was really aimmed for christians instead of unbelievers... Pastor Jim raised 6 questions we can ask ourselves in order to help us figure out a clearer godly direction over unclear/gray issues...
1 Will it cause you to lose control? (avoid things that you're weak for...)
2 Will it be habit forming? (avoid possible addiction/bondage if at all possible...)
3 Will it build up or will it tear down others?
4 Will it cause someone to stumble?
5 Will it harm my Christian testimony?
6 Am I certain that it's right? (Immature only asks "is it wrong to do...?", but if you doubt or are unsure, then justdon't do it!)
Very good guidelines... if everyone at LAKKC... or if every christian can practice these guidelines faithfully, surely we'd all do alright! ;) I think this can all be summed up by this verse:

3 行 仁 義 公 平 比 獻 祭 更 蒙 耶 和 華 悅 納 。
Later on that day I also got a new washer and dryer because our old one is leaking water..., luckily we found a set that's on sale and it has 1 yr interest free financing... so we dont' have to pay up now... ;) Aunt Patricia also called up to ask for help because her car had died..., she was actually lucky to be able to get to Pong's wedding with that car... so anyway, after I found out it's just a bad battery, I just replaced one for her. She was so happy that she didn't have to miss work on Monday... and she even paid me extra money for my services. (I usually don't get money from her because she's a single mom with really heavy financial burden, but since she insisted...)
And on Monday, I took a day off for our specially photo-shoot! It was easier than I thought..., though I think the love of my life has hurt herself pretty badly because the photographer kept on telling her to move her hips this way or that way... ;)
And I finished the day off by assembling some stupid lamp we bought at Target. It came with no instructions and luckily dad does some electrician work before so has some tools so with those tools, I was able to put together our new lamp at our living room.

And I did some work and sweat a little...
And there was light!!! ;)

An Unexpected Day...
I think I'm not getting enough sleep or something, I've been wanting to get up early, but my body just cannot..., can you help me Lord? I set alarm at 7:30am, but it'd always take me nearly 30 minutes to become fully awake!!!

13 不 要 貪 睡 ， 免 致 貧 窮 ； 眼 要 睜 開 ， 你 就 吃 飽 。
Yes Lord, I will try not to sleep too much... and speaking of eating... it's amazing that I can weight 185 lbs before going to bed, but end up with 181 lbs during the next morning! Maybe this is why I was so tired while sleeping... I was burning off 4 lbs of fat!!! ;)
I was also hopeing to just fast over lunch since mom didn't prepare any lunch today... (I also really should try to slim up for my special photo shoot on Monday...), but unfortunately my friend Tigran called me up and want to have lunch together... so I guess no more fasting! I did try to cut down my diet today... so last I checked, I weigh only 184 lbs..., maybe I'll be 180 lbs tomorrow morning... ;)
At work too, I got an unexpected assignment today, it was not a difficutl task, just need to help out on some crisis... it felt good to be able to help... and it was fun to break the routine for a short while too I suppose. And on my way home tonite, I also unexpected hit heavy traffic. I usually don't encounter traffic, but today there was some sort of serious accident of something, was actully physically 'stopped' for a while. So my entire day pretty much went in a way that's totally unexpected...

Yeah, I'm pretty clueless. I only hope that I'm walking closer to You, Lord.

Numbers are still growing...
Latest tally of people coming to our wedding is about 185... and amazingly, my weight has reached an all time high of 185 lbs too! Surely there will be more coming to our wedding who opted not to send in their invitations, but sure hope that my weight won't continue to go up further! ;)
My daily scripture reading was kinda depressing. Once again, stupid kings either start out doing evil in eye's of the LORD from the beginning... or somehow end up screwing up later in life. Manasseh (瑪 拿 西) was the oddity... for he started out evil, but later on due to circumstances, end up humbling himself. Josiah(約 西 亞) did super well most of his life, just didn't heed to God's warning in the end and ended up dying in battle... anyway, the moral of the story is... how will I turn out in the end LORD?

My daily scripture reading was kinda depressing. Once again, stupid kings either start out doing evil in eye's of the LORD from the beginning... or somehow end up screwing up later in life. Manasseh (瑪 拿 西) was the oddity... for he started out evil, but later on due to circumstances, end up humbling himself. Josiah(約 西 亞) did super well most of his life, just didn't heed to God's warning in the end and ended up dying in battle... anyway, the moral of the story is... how will I turn out in the end LORD?
Psalm 119
1 行 為 完 全 、 遵 行 耶 和 華 律 法 的 ， 這 人 便 為 有 福 ！
2 遵 守 他 的 法 度 、 一 心 尋 求 他 的 ， 這 人 便 為 有 福 ！
Yeah, Lord Jesus is surely blessed!!! ;) However, I'm not sure if I can keep 100% of Your laws, but in Christ, I guess I'm also blessed... and I can do the following:

Number just keeps on growing!
Yeah, last nite I counted the number of guests from my side coming to the wedding..., so far, we have 85 confirmed guests. For sure there are still more coming from Taiwan, maybe some from LAKKC too... so for sure it'll be 100+ people just on my side! Hoping we can keep the total number below 250... maximum number we can accomodate is 350, but if we squeeze 350 people, we won't be able to have a dance floor, which would make the love of my life glad..., but I believe God would be glad if we could dance joyfully on this special occasion! ;) Anyway, may His will be done, not ours! :)
And BTW God, why is it that seemingly godly men such as King David, Solomon, and Asa end up turning their backs against you one way or another...? How can we keep our pride in check so that we won't fall? If they can't do it, what chance do I have? How can I learn to cherish Your blessings... and yet not to take You for granted? Hmm...

Angioplasty...
Angioplasty is a non-surgical procedure that can be used to open blocked heart arteries. Pastor Jim Reeves from FCC was telling us that he had to go thru that procedure and was able to avoid having a massive heart attack later on. He also went on to say that all of us need to have a "spiritual angioplasty" procedure so that we can avoid trouble down the road... LORD, may You guard and test our hearts! Please guard it so that satan won't be able to clog it up more... and if it is clogged up, then please help us unclog all the junk that's in our hearts. David could screw up again and again..., first with Bethsheba...then taking this stupid census..., if someone like David can screw up like that sometimes, what about people like myself? Hmm....
